Do you know where you read this? I'm unclear how the height of the racks would make any difference since they would mount in the same place as the short ones.

I understand the bed rails may not be structural but the mount points for the cross bars are.

I need to haul two motorcycles in a couple weeks so if my March/April delivery ever shows up, I'll take some pictures. But realistically most motorcycles should fit in the bed with the gate down and I don't have any concerns about the weighting - 600lbs is not that much and 300lbs on the tailgate is not that much more than, say, me on the tailgate.

If the tops of the bedsides aren’t meant to be load bearing, then the larger footprint needed for taller crossbars would be the issue.

If the tops of the bedsides aren’t meant to be load bearing, then the larger footprint needed for taller crossbars would be the issue.

Couldn't they cross brace between the bars diagonally rather than have a larger footprint? (I am not an engineer but do play Bridge Constructor.)

Separate note, let's not put too much credence in "I heard somewhere that *major previously unknown design limitation*" without some real sourcing.

I almost forgot a few pics of my new R1T. Not the best photographer but…. Also, someone said I was one of the first to have 21’s delivered. Huge thanks to NC10 who made the center inserts for the wheels.

I see one picture without center caps and one with center caps. Were you able to pop the center caps off the aero covers and install? If not, where did the center caps come from. Love the look without the aero covers.....but do want center caps. Thanks!

Has anyone needed manual review of their trade in quote? If so, how long did it take and was it done in t he evening? My Tesla which is financed through PenFed is being manually reviewed.

Also, if you didn't finance using Rivian, how did you get a total financing amount? Is it available at some point or do you need to guesstimate?

From the UI, the only saved settings are seat position, mirrors, and steering wheel position.

What about the pedals? Do they move forward or back? If they do, is the peddle position saved in the driver's profile?

They are fixed in place afaik.

The order summary page of your account will tell you the order total including TTL. This link is within the financing step.
My steps were get pre-approved for a ridiculous amount from my credit union. Enter that amount as the financed amount and then Rivian will tell you how much you have to put down.

That's a bummer. My 2016 Ram Laramie will adjust the seat, mirrors, pedals and even the radio station to a profile. The profile can be assigned to a fob. I have my fob and my wife has hers. Unlock the truck with my fob and it will adjust to my profile. Unlock with her fob and it will adjust to her profile. Very convenient...but I can live without it.

rivian will do all that with the driver profiles, except for the pedal adjustment because that function isn’t there.

chrysler/dodge/ram are one of the few automakers with adjustable pedals.
