One day after sent "whining" email and text to my Guide, TODAY received via email my VIN, and completed 7 of 8 steps, and Guide is trying to arrange delivery in next few days! Not sure if email and/or text made a difference, but there it is...
Congrats!!! I was going to text my guide to see if she could look into sending the wall charger I ordered. The electrician is scheduled to come Thursday next week. It would be great if he could do everything at once. But maybe I will ask where we are with my vehicle too.
How many weeks did you wait from signing your PBA to getting your VIN.

Lost track of PBA, but think 2-3 weeks ago. I just changed from OC to BM and 20"AT to 21" road tires in the last week, hoping to get mine sooner, thinking that was the biggest factor...other than prodding my Guide for information...

In the 8 step process - got the email this morning. VIN assigned. Awaiting trade in offer and someone to approve my driver license picture upload. My guide told me May 12 is the day I should have my insurance start, so that's what I'm planning on as delivery.

Just got Guide contact yesterday, call scheduled for 9am today.
R1T, FG/FE, Launch Edition, Jan 2020 pre order, 22" wheels. Joliet, IL
Fully purchased in 30 minutes today. They offered to deliver on Monday 5/9. I said I will be out of town all next week, how about tomorrow (Friday). Pam (awesome lady!) Said let me work on it. Called me 30 min later and said yes, if I can drive the 90 min down to the factory. So I have a 5pm pick up time tomorrow. Today time from guide contact to delivery, if all goes well tomorrow: 71 hours.
I can't smile big enough right now.

Messaged my Guide today as it's been a week since he was assigned. PBA has been signed but no VIN.

He confirmed he doesn't have anything matching my LE config yet which is surprising (LG/BM/20") since it seems like it would be common.

I told him I'm open to other configs and the weird thing is he told me there were three local Adventure builds (no LE's) that may be available. Not to stir the pot but why have these even been built if people are still waiting for their LE's??

None of the ADV builds would work for me but he did put a note in my acct that I'd be open for other colors, etc if I means I get the truck sooner. Fingers crossed.

Well, I guess he isn't lying. We have the same build configuration. I live in the Los Angeles area and my guide told me the same thing (except for the adventure builds). Hopefully there will be a large batch of them leaving the factory s00n.

No, my guide is a girl. I noticed no one mentions their guide's name on the forums. Is that not allowed?
I'm just respecting their perceived privacy -

So I finally received an offer on my Tesla yesterday with a pending delivery date for Tuesday. Financing through PenFed and they are sending me a live check ... via snail mail.

I have a letter from them confirming financing, and may main man Adam is looking to see if that will work, but I suspect it wont. I might have to delay delivery due to that, which pretty much sucks.

I got an email that says “get ready for your purchase process.”

Does that mean it’s happening?!?!
Just got one as well!

I wonder if the adventure builds being shipped are w/out the power tonneau. Seems like that'd be the only difference that'd cause them to ship before a launch edition (other than LE badging?)
