Also it would help coordinate with peoples calendars. I’d love to update from 2022.11 to 2012.19 1.5 weeks before a road trip, but not the night before.
And my .15 update notification came while I was on a trip. I was afraid to do away from home, so waited a couple of days to do at home.

How quickly do ota updates roll out? Mine still says 2022.15 is the current version? Is there anything I should do to trigger it to find the new update?

They roll out slowly. Nobody knows the exact schedule for the OTAs except Rivian, unfortunately, so we all just have to sit tight and wait

And no, there’s currently no known way to manually trigger an update

How many people actually have this update (that are not employees/insiders)?

I was told today by a service tech that 2022.15.0 is the latest ‘public’ release. I guess it’s possible he is misinformed and he admitted it’s possible it was pushed to some random people by mistake.

A few. I think the same people that got 2022.15.0 early/first are getting 2022.19.3 first.

This is good news, really hoping i get this update before my Yosemite trip next week. The preconditioning should really help.

*** Turns out it's downloading right now, horray!***

Given the convention of the middle digits being the week of the year, I think a few people got this update early because it hasn't been 4 weeks since 2022.15 initially started pushing. That would be later this week.

Opposite for me. My truck was constantly locking and unlocking out the driveway 15-20 ft from my office. So I guess I'll continue to be unable to use proximity lock. Leaving unlocked at home doesn't solve my problems.
Or if you are at work and park close enough to your office....I wouldn't want my truck constantly unlocking and locking and also don't want to put it in Home mode and leave it unlocked.

I'm very surprised that it doesn't seem to have the capability of reading proximity. That's the only ideal solution...it unlocks if you are within 5 or 10 feet.

We'll have to wait and see, but my interpretation of the Home function was that it doesn't automatically lock/unlock when you are at Home, but you can manuallly lock the vehicle and it stays in that state until you manually unlock.

So, if true, that Home function could be used anywhere that you want that behavior (if it's a button and not geotagged). If the latter, I'd hope you can group Home and Office to apply that to.

I’m in the downloading now category as well. Haven’t seen an alert on phone yet.

Thanks for confirming the app does notify you of a pending update. Can you start the update from the app?

In this update the home function is tied to your home location in the GPS. The behavior seems to be that if you leave the truck unlocked, it just stays that way, and "sleeps" while unlocked. However I have noticed that the lights on the door handles always stay on which is odd.

Then when its locked it again stays that way, but I appears after about 12 hours if I come back out to the garage first thing in the morning, it will auto unlock, but not re-lock if I go back in to the house. So there must be some time logic.

Overall major improvement to the system. I've also noticed the proximity lock/unlock works much more consistently in this update.

Bigger amount of traffic that I recall for the updates
