How do you look at the webpage code? Seems the only way to divine any “real” information from Rivian.

Congrats! Seeing people around me make me hopeful that I'll get mine s00n. I'm in Allen and I saw someone on Reddit from Collin County as well say they had a delivery scheduled too and reserved only a month before me.

Just out of curiosity, in what part of the country are you taking delivery? (Please don't say San Francisco.)

Because I am pissed and bored about the delays, I went to the Rivian Wikipedia page and found some interesting info. There is only a 9% difference in components between the R1T and R1S. Hard to believe they can't produce both at the same time...

The R1S is a sport utility vehicle version of the first Rivian platform. Because of a shared electric chassis, the R1S design aimed, as of 2018, to have 91 percent shared components with the R1T.

Also found they have 11,500 employees and they've only delivered/sold about ~7,000 vehicles! Talk about overhead...!

Nice... Just adds confirmation to my theory about geography being a big deciding factor. I think they don't want to overwhelm the SC out here, which is pushing a bunch of us to the back of the (regional) line.

Oh, I would never get upset at another pre-order holder. Congrats. I just continue to marvel at how Rivian is basing these decisions on wind patterns and tea leaves. There literally seems to be no rhyme or reason whatsoever. I guess I would be mad if there weren't people 2 years ahead of me in line who haven't heard a peep either... Odd way to run a company, IMHO, but surely they know what they are doing.
