I got approved for MORE-EV yesterday too, I get the feeling with their lack of responses someone finally decided to clear out their inbox and approve us all at once.

Anyone here with a silver R1T in CT? My parents excitedly told me they spotted one in Guilford today.

Out for ice cream today and I believe saw your truck. Walking back to our car and my daughter started to excitedly scream “Dad, dad, Rivian! Rivian! Rivian!” We have visited the hub in Venice, but seems more real in “the wild.” Love the forest green and I like the look of the 21’s in person.

That would have been awesome. It was parked at the time, so I didn’t know who the owner was. I probably should have gawked at it for longer!

Do you mean "MOR-EV", the Massachusetts EV Rebate program?
If so, the Rivian does not qualify because the purchase price is greater than $50K.

You ready that in reverse, it actually qualifies for that program because it’s more than $50K. When I looked at the other categories I realized that they were probably pushing this towards commercial trucks and thought they picked a GVW that was high than a personal vehicle would be.

I’m really interested to see if the R1S gets accepted into the program with an SUV designation not as a pickup.

@RivianCurious put your application in ADAP, the $ is currently really good and is likely to drop soon as there are “truckloads” of vehicles coming out of Chelsea.

Rivian DOES qualify as it is a truck with over 8000lbs GVWR. Several of us have now been approved for a $7500 check

My parents are becoming excellent Rivian spotters, in addition to the silver R1T in Guilford a few days ago, they just spotted a white one parked on green hill in Madison. I guess CT is doing well with deliveries!
