First look at @ “Introducing the R1 Shop” -- Rivian website to shop for R1T that delivers in 6-8 weeks

This can't be true. I think they're just heavily prioritizing sending things to the shop in general.

According to these screenshots my exact build keeps showing up in the shop and for some reason they're not assigning me a VIN/truck. I'm a '21 preorder so there has to be some other reason they're ignoring folks with guides like myself in favor of sending trucks to the shop.

Either way I'm setting up a call with my guide this coming week to figure out why I'm being ignored when there's clearly a surplus of trucks to go around. Maybe it's punishment for canceling my preorder after the price increase ?

I’m in the same boat as you… please let me know how that goes, because the Charlotte region seems to be neglected in all this R1 shop madness lol

I think you got a guide right before Rivian rejiggered their queue system. I think that it unfortunately bumped you to the back of the line.

You very well may be right about that, I've certainly wondered if that was the case. Seems like an absolutely terrible waste of guide resources to have someone weighing down their roster like that, but what do I know!

Yeah I definitely will. Really hoping the phone call is at least somewhat productive, but I'm expecting a lot of non-answers lol. I'm not trying to waste my guide's time here, but it's starting to feel like Rivian isn't respecting mine.

Not sure you are getting ignored, being a 2021 preorder there are probably 40k people ahead of you from 2018, 2019, and 2020. It’s possible they are trying to get more vehicles to those long time preorder holders.

One of the things that I've been watching is how many folks who placed their reservations after me have already had guides assigned. Then I see folks who are still waiting for a guide who reserved way before I did and it - sadly - makes me feel better.

Oops that was supposed to say 1115am. Edited above. That might give me an ulcer if Rivian was committing so many resources to "orphan" trucks!

Currently all colors but launch green and glacier white are available. All 21s except one LA Silver with 22" bright. Some BM and some FG interiors. Some with spare tire, some without. No underbody shields.
