Has anyone removed one of the bed lights? My driver's side bed light hasn't worked since delivery and I'm wondering if its something as simple as a missed connector. I'd hate to schedule service if its just something easy I can take care of myself. However, the light is so tight against the bed I can't even fit a trim removal tool behind it to see if I can get it to release. All is does is slide back and forth slightly.

I’m in a different state than the service team so even a fast fix would still mean several hours for a mobile service technician. Just trying to save some effort for such a minor issue.

I second your desire to try and fix yourself. I've had my R1T for 5 weeks and have had two service tickets in for the same amount of time. I have seen zero movement despite weekly calls to the service reps, reach outs to my guide and to customer service.

Last week the service advisor told me that there's an internal review process to look at tickets before they're assigned to the service center. He said that was the holdup.

I'm waiting on:
* camp speaker won't unlock so it cannot be removed/used
* PPF on gear tunnel doors is applied poorly (like so, so bad)
* Failed paint correction in one spot (probably a 3"x3" matte area where someone sanded out a defect and didn't polish it back to glossy)
* Front passenger door hits quarter panel when opening
* Alignment issues with hood
* Driver's seat cooling doesn't work

And I live less than 10 miles from a service center!

Hey there - wondering if you ever got an answer or resolution here? I have the exact same problem, driver side LED strip in truck bed is out and I’d rather fix it myself than schedule mobile visit (I’m 3hrs from service center). Thanks!

It ended up getting fixed by service when I had to take the truck in for a suspension issue. Both the suspension and the bed light were connector issues, with the suspension connector being broken which intermittently caused the connector to disconnect and the bed light which wasn’t connected at all. They just plugged it in and it worked.

Interesting - hope I’m not looking at a symptom of a larger issue then. But sounds like your two issues weren’t related, just coincidentally the same type of problem. Thanks for the response, I’ll get to tinkering!
