I signed as well. After you put in your email and name and click agree, it should give you another page that tells you to download the PDF version and asks you sign with a wet signature and keep for your tax records.

So, based on what you are saying, I don't think yours went through. I am assuming your email has to match whatever they have on file (i.e., the email address where you received the agreement).
I got the same issue. Solution was to open the link in incognito and all was well. Took me to the link to print the PDF.

Is anyone signing this for delivery in 2022? Our R1T is on a train and ETA for delivery in August/Early Sept. Not sure we need to sign a binding agreement.
Doesn't hurt if you do. Don't see why you wouldn't.

Yes. Unless your delivery happens before the President signs the bill (as early as this weekend), you'll want to sign this to ensure the best odds that you remain eligible for the tax credit. As written, conditions such as the mineral requirements kick in immediately after the bill has been signed.

EDIT: sorry, mineral requirements was a bad example, that's effective once guidance has been issued by the Secretary and which could happen at any time between the signing and end of the year.

I am one of the people who cancelled and then reinstated, but Rivian never re-charged me the $1000. I wonder if that will complicate any of this.
I can confirm that you won't receive this if you fall into that category. I am in the same boat.

My config is locked, my website meta says awaiting fulfillment and my guide says I should get my truck by mid September latest and I just signed it. Do I need to, most likely not but I did anyways. I have the money sitting ready and waiting to pay for the whole truck, at this point a potential loss of 100 dollars is a drop in the bucket to secure 7500.

Anything could happen that could cause my delivery to be delayed until Jan 1 or later. What if taking the truck off the rail car it falls off sideways and thrashes it. Now I need to wait for the next cycle and I went from having my truck any day now to potentially next year. As the email, and many on the forum have said, once the act has been signed it's too late. That date is Friday, so imagine you don't sign the agreement before Friday and you get a call Monday saying there are major issues with your truck and it's going to be delayed.

The way I see it is being as close as I am to buying the truck in its entirety I have nothing to lose by signing. If everything goes to plan I didn't lose anything, if something goes sideways I have a little bit of coverage.

I couldn't get the link to work on my iphone w/ Safari, maybe it was a pop up blocker setting I had. I had no problem when I logged in on my mac w/ Chrome. I have not yet received an email verifying I submitted it, although I did download the pdf to my desktop.

I did put OC back in my configuration first, sounds like configs aren't locked, and to be honest, I would be be open to changing some aspects of it. I guess I will pass on the max pack, I can make a case for it, but I would rather have a truck in 2022/2023 with the credit than a chance of a credit in 2023 (Sep 21 pre-order, I think I have seen people with similar order dates with max pack of 2H 2023, which could be July or Dec).

More like 1.33% since the only thing as risk is the 100 bucks instead of the full 1000…
Agreed but he was worried about Rivian refunding none of the deposit which is why I used $1,000 as a worst case scenario.

Just wanted to make sure you saw my correction above. Mineral requirements don't kick in until the Secretary of the Treasury issues guidance. That must happen before the end of the year but we simply don't know when that might happen. In your case, vehicle is in route, this is more of a "better safe than sorry" scenario but still in your best interest to sign (speaking strictly with regard to tax credit eligibility).

Ha, included in the same bill is additional money (billions) to hire more IRS agents.
