That's how I understand this scenario. For those signing the binding agreement today it will still require delivery in 2023 to get the 7500 credit.ah, so carry over of old credit only applies to 2023?

And, err, hopefully we all get what we deserve? Hmm, that sounds kind of dark.... ?Take a victory lap folks. We all earned it!
While I appreciate Rivian’s effort, I won’t be taking a victory lap until the credit is confirmed. The particulars still seem a bit shaky. Rivian did their part, but now it’s in the hands of Congress and the IRS.Signed and Bidened! I mean binded!
Meanwhile - can we all just take a breath for a moment and realize what has transpired in just a few short days? We had an unlikely piece of legislation that many thought was dead find new life, a grassroots effort from the amazing Rivian Forums peeps to convince RIVIAN to take action to preserve the existing, at risk, $7,500 credit, and finally, binding purchase agreements being issued en masse to try and keep us all whole.

Negative on both. No income cap, no msrp cap.Are there AGI caps on the expiring EV credit or just that we must stay under 80k?
Well sh*t I'm putting the wheels i want back on lol before the Pres signs the new bill!Negative on both. No income cap, no msrp cap.
Since I was between basically the currently “free” options and paid options, I switched to the paid ones and will revert to the free later. So Adventure/FG/OC/21” Off Road wheels.Unlike so many in this forum, I am actually in YOUR boat. The lease on my vehicle is up in the Summer of 2023 so, ideally, I would get my R1T around that time or earlier.
I'm wondering if you make a change to something that was already "free" if it will change anything. So, for example switching to BM from OC shouldn't create a price change.
But if I switch to BM now, then sign the PBA, and then decide I want OC sometime in the next few months - would I now have to pay for OC?
My reading is maybe?
I’d like to know where the new bill says that. That's how I understand this scenario. For those signing the binding agreement today it will still require delivery in 2023 to get the 7500 credit.
I'm assuming this possible workaround isn't going to last into 2024...the feds aren't that stupid!I’d like to know where the new bill says that.
