In some pictures they are painted. Not sure exactly which it will be, maybe some black changing to matched at a later point.

Configurator shows speaker grills matching headliner. I imagine they were just short of the white grills when they put the demonstrator vehicle shown in the video together.

Coming from white Tesla interior which has held up surprisingly well, this has me seriously considering a change to the new OC which I love. Even better, there is no up charge for this version on my configuration and switched back from forest edge would save me $2k! Limestone with OC might be the ticket…

Personally, I like the change to the dark wood trim. I might even be tempted to switch from Black Mountain if they offered the dark headliner as well. I'm not a fan of light colored headliners but do love the look of the light gray seats and door inserts on an otherwise dark interior. Fortunately I'm perfectly happy with Black Mountain. Just happy to see more deliveries and hoping mine won't be too much longer!

I fully agree with you. The OC seats/door cards with the black headliner would be the perfect combo!!

I have BM, which I don’t hate by any means, but having the option for FE or OC seats would be sweet. I would have paid extra for that option!

RJs twitter video is a great sample of this. I was considering the same but decided it was just to monochromatic for me.

I had OC configured originally then switched to BM hoping it would get to me faster on the R1S but had to switch back for this new OC combo with Limestone. FE would be a cool combo too but I'd have to see it in person for that $2k upcharge.

I’ve seen forest edge through the windows but never sat in it - there is someone in my neighborhood that has FE so I’ll go see it soon but this might have me switching back!

I originally had it, switched to black mountain for an earlier delivery, and switched back to ocean coast. I prefer the lighter color seats in a hot climate.

I'm loving the new OC interior. The dark wood seems to have a very subtle blue tint to my eyes.

I have a 2/21 reservation and have been tempted to switch to BM. I'm glad I held out. I can now see light at the end of the tunnel.

Rivian could have easily charged a $1k premium for a white interior similar to Tesla.

They could, and in fact are, charging twice that for post March 2022 orders.

Somewhat disappointed with this announcement. I was a big fan of the original Lunar Rock interior, but was okay to accept Ocean Coast changes. With this announcement, I may switch to Forest Edge.

...or maybe, like the Stadium Headlights, this new Ocean Coast will grow on me.

Until now I had never seen the lunar rock interior. What a looker! That is my new favorite interior of them all...

I've been on a major fence between limestone and Rivian blue. The new ocean coast I feel would pair better with limestone.

I'm taking a vote today with some friends and will finalize this weekend...
