Got my first Guide email today, and it stated that a VIN is being assigned, and asking for confirmation of my configuration. I live in Golden, R1S Launch, Limestone, Black Mountain. Looks like things are finally happening.

@Matty J, yes, I’ve got the underbody option/tow hooks, compact spare, all-weather mats, field kit, wall charger for adventure gear, as well as 20” Black AT’s, $83,775 MSRP.

I will say that I changed my configuration back in November 2021 when we got the email stating that configuration “and accessories” may affect your delivery window. I had many more items at that time in my build (tent, etc.) and changed to a build of basically just the Rig, feeling it may help given supply chain challenges I thought any small item may hold up the order.

I pretty much have the same config w/ the ONLY difference is I am Launch Green (one would think that make a difference)....

I heard from my Guide this am after I told her that I stopped by the SC over the weekend and saw 3 R1Ss being prepped....so things were really starting to move. She said my delivery window (aug/sept) was still on track, and that my accessories should not impact schedule.

All I can say is by the end of Sept comes and I don't have a VIN assigned at the minimum, I will be beyond disappointed.

I have a feeling a week from now there will be many in the same spot. Confirm config >> receive VIN >> finalize >> wait >> deliver!

This is the thread that will probably be my home for the next 8 weeks. Aug/Sep is my window as well. I am in Broomfield (close to the SC) and have a fairly simple config. We will see how things shake out.
