I'm either too impatient or find that talking to computers highly irritating (usually slow and inaccurate). I also have the same challenge with self-checkout at the grocery store... : )

Driver+ adaptive cruise control is abysmal.
The "one" car following length is actually about 1 semi and causes constant slowing down when using. Every single car that passes me, does so well within the length and the vehicle hits the brakes on me. Let us turn off the adaptive feature or make the closest following setting shorter. Yes, i'm aware, it is probably so far to save their asses.

My current list:

(I won't yell CarPlay again...but doesn't mean I wouldn't love it.)

In-vehicle/general:

- Change Wheels/Tires in UI.
- An actual Amazon Music App. If they want us to use Amazon Music (which I can be Ok with despite my personal preference order being Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music) they should at least have an app...and not just have whatever it is from Amazon show up in the pop-up controller and not align with what's on the main music page.

Mobile App:

- Be able to switch 120v on/off from app. Would be nice for couple reasons. My current use-case would be to pre-chill a Dometic.
- Start/Stop/Change % on Charging

Would be nice if the app started giving accurate information about charging rate, history, and the charger itself. As it stands, when the charge is complete, I always get "Charging detail unavailable".
One other thing I would love to see is a feature that would show me how many miles I've driven since I last charged the car. It would also be great if I could choose the exact amount of regen breaking and the exact charging threshold but that's kind of low priority.

I don't even have my truck yet, but to add to the already pretty good lists, here's what I'd like to see very soon for the R1.

1. Ability to play lossless audio via USB-C drives
2. Geo-tagged ride-height option. I will have to put the R1 into. Low or Lowest in order to get into my garage. Having to remember to do this manually every single time I pull into my driveway sucks. It'd be nice if the truck could do this automatically.

Besides the lack of carplay, I’ve noted that the garage door UI could use improvement.

I should say that programming the garage door function is easier than any vehicle I’ve used in the past. I‘m impressed with it. But, as others have said, you shouldn’t need to touch the screen twice to open a garage door. Instead, if only one door is programmed, then the garage icon should open it with a single press. If a 2nd door is added, then a 2nd garage door icon should be added to the menu bar at the top. The only difference is that the two garage icons should be numbered. This should be the same for a 3rd garage door. However if more than 3 are added, then. the 3rd button should have the drop down menu with additional garage doors. So basically, one touch for up to 3 garage doors and two touches for 3, 4, and 5 if more are added.

Navigation still needs work. There is no traffic reporting at all. Of course adding support for Waze would fix this.

Just got back from a weekend away road trip and I would say that it would be nice to have a "resume" for the normal cruise control. Also the camp speaker has been really difficult to get going especially if it is near the truck (who takes it very far away anyway?) My phone bluetooth is linked to the truck so everytime I walked close enough the truck unlocked and the spotify in the truck started playing and the bluetooth speaker went off. I eventually shut off the automatic unlock with the phone to stop it from doing that but It seems that the pairing between the truck and its camp speaker needs to be more intuitive.
I had a similar issue using Bluetooth earbuds while washing my truck, and I found a good solution. You just have to change the audio source in the truck to anything but Bluetooth (just press the button to open the Tunein app, for example). This will prevent the truck from “stealing“ Bluetooth from whatever other device you want you phone to be playing on.

I want the default initial function of the tonneau cover button on the bed to OPEN. If I close the tonneau partially because something is too high to close all the way, then try to open it up after driving, the first button press closes the tonneau on the obstruction.

Mine are all listed above but I don't believe I've seen this one.

When I get in the truck I want my main screen where it was. Not on saved security videos telling me to put it in Park to view. If I want to view the videos I'll navigate to them.

Just send a notification to app or a little indicator telling me there's new videos saved. Thanks

I was really hoping in this last update that we would have the option to be able to have the height change to the lowest when put in 'park'. I don't mind driving at the required height, but I either fall out of the truck when I forget to put it to its lowest and then cannot get into the truck afterwards. Cannot there be an option that would be linked to our 'keys' that when we approach it the truck lowers? or put it in 'park' and it lowers? I'm not sure driving it in the lowest height is good for the tire wear?

@idiocyafoot hit my list. I'd like something official other than Spotify and the ability to change the tires without needing to talk to a service center.

It may be there somewhere, but I would love a longer more saved list of power performance beyond the last 15 mins view on the driver screen.

I want to see more how my driving style and type of drive “city vs off-road vs highway” affect the power usage.

I would love a summary of each driving session. Does that exists somewhere? It would be great to see it on the app as well.

Being able to send location to truck. Alexa is complete SHIT, so tired of it telling me it can't find this location or that location or giving a completely wrong "find". I swear Alexa would miss the ground if dropped from 10,000 ft.

You're only as strong as your weakest link and sadly Rivian navigation assist is less useful than a pet rock. At least I could toss a pet rock through a window.
