Not that effective as plenty of gas stations around so no range anxiety. Whereas it could be 50 miles before the next DCFC.

They, whoever they are, need to have a way to tow vehicles not charging at charging stations. I’m pretty sure that if I park my car at a gas station pump, and leave. The owner is going to have my car towed after 10 min.

i realize that you can’t tow an ev that’s plugged in. But at least in that case you can be sure they were charging.

incidentally I recently witnessed a lady park her suburbusaurus three quarters of the way in a L2 charging spot and 1/4 of the way into a handicap spot. Real special.

I thought there was an adjacent parking spot and just reached the cable over. Hard to tell that the R1T is on the island from the picture but this is awesome

Or, you could have done what this fellow EV owner did (he/she is my kindred spirit). Can't wait to do this in my R1T which should be able to block in at least 3 other vehicles...

I never really liked the placement of the rivian charge port (easy to destroy in a light front end tap) snow/ice build up etc, but I must say for the tight situations having a charge port right at the nose does have its benefits for situations like this
