Kinda feels like attrition warfare with us early preorder holders. They'll keep delaying until we cancel, then they'll sell it at the higher price to a newer preorder holder.

At least most of y’all got a time frame… I get a TBD since I live too far in the sticks apparently and the need to finalize a service center closer before I can get a date……..

I was better off I think with my original time frame with a max pack and being the second half of 2023.

Man I would drive to Atlanta or normal to get my Rivian lol. It’s just a road trip.

Who am I kidding it would be nice to have one of the gables first mile drives (like that will happen).

F&@$ed by rivian again. 03/2020 reservation. LE with no changes. Originally said June-july. Then Oct dec. Now Feb mar 23. I knew something was up when suddenly offered first mile drive a week ago. I felt like that was a bad sign that they weren’t hitting the date. Meanwhile see other R1S in Austin with later date get theirs. Makes no sense. Here comes the stock hit as well once the news gets out. Glad I have my bronco! But I tell you for sure I won’t give up my reservation. Not with pre pricing. I sure hope this doesn’t eff up my tax incentive as well. I signed binding agreement. Have to wonder if that helped them decide to push me to next year.

So disappointing for all, as well as a sobering indication that they just can't get the rollout dialed in. I'm less than 5 miles from the Chicago SC and pushed out 10 months (now 3Q23) from my original estimate.

Not complaining (but wanting to vent), as some are much worse off, but it does make you question something so simple as keeping similar configs/orders, close to a SC...in a first in, first out delivery approach. Annoying is what it is.

Hard not to be cynical and assume they are sweating out some of us with Pre-March pricing.

Have people noticed that some of the R1T's ordered after the price increase have the same 3Q23 as my R1S. Basically, order 14 months later at the higher price and get delivery of your vehicle at the same time. Not arguing the business case, but poor form, as they are striving to roll out the platform to the masses, with a solid company image.

While newly launched, the R1S should still be able to easily pace R1T production by years end, assuming they are in fact learning as they go...and already flattened the curve with the R1T launch. My gut tells me that the R1T vs R1S production/delivery differences (challenges) should be a moot point by 1Q23.

What would really be disappointing is if they decide to cut costs on the platform and dump the quad motor entirely sometime in '23. Playing the card of "specifications are subject to change" and jam us in the end. What has been a '22 12V frunk outlet discussion, could easily be a '23 motor discussion. Let hope not!

We got about what I expected. Our estimated R1T delivery date is: January-December 2024. I would have hoped that they could do better than that considering that our preorder date is November 28, 2018. This may well put us past the 5 year anniversary of our order. This could even put us past 6 years between order and delivery.

I am now wondering if we will be the very last 2018 order to be filled.

There is no way I’m waiting another year. I’m a day one preorder holder for both the Cybertruck and Hummer and will likely have both of them replace my Tesla and Raptor when they arrive. I really wanted the R1S and my plan was to flip the Hummer EV but at this point my plan has shifted and I will almost undoubtedly be selling the R1S when it arrives as a flip.

What a very disappointing day from what’s been an extremely frustrating company. Wow.

Seems strange to see some of these so far out. I thought I read a while ago that they were only sitting on about 95k reservations. I'm not sure what their run rate is now, but if they are taking more than a year to get out 95k vehicles it seems they have some real issues.
