Introducing RMaxx Running Boards & Rock Sliders for Rivian R1T / R1S from Team 1EV

Not that I don't trust that EV Sportline is making these and will be shipping them (they aren't some random new vendor and plenty of people love their jack pucks and other accessories), but I feel like people should be aware that the image listed is a photoshop job and not an actual image of the running board on an R1T.

The exact same picture, sans running board, is featured on the product page for the wheels and if you look closely it's pretty clear the running board was added digitally.

So anyone who is buying purely based on the picture, take note that you're technically looking at a rendering, not a picture of the product installed on an R1T.

? Apparently it’s extremely difficult for these two competing vendors to take and post detailed (unaltered) images of their sliders?

Since most of us will never have a chance to see these products in person before purchasing them, I’d like the vendors to provide exhaustive details, images, videos, etc. Am I asking too much?

Yeah, I would feel a lot more comfortable if I saw some real pictures of it installed and the installation instructions before I put in an order. How long is the introductory price honored for?

SOLD. Been desperately waiting for these. I've purchased many items from Eli & T-Sportline, including a complete car. They're a trusted company that's been doing reputable business for many years now. Absolutely no doubt that they'll deliver.

Now, just hoping they can offer a thick rubber mat for the bed in the same cut out as the carpeted one they currently offer. I can't imagine exposing carpet to rain and snow. Hopefully, they'll offer the same thing, but in a thick rubber material instead. Hint, hint!

I am sold on it. I love the pucks and based on my chat with them, the installation uses existing mounts. You do need to remove the exterior plastic piece on the frame, and the boards have new jack-points for the pucks. seems like they have it covered. I will post full install details once they arrive.

They already have this if you look on their site. Though not sure your definition of thick, but they have a rubber mat with two texture options.

PS. Carpet works just fine on boats in the rain, so it just depends on the type of carpet/material.

Yes, we have both carpet and rubber mats. The rubber mats are not 'thick', however - it is a light duty rubber mat, dont plan on dumping bricks on it, ha ha. Specs are in the listings. Check evsportline.com

Re the terms and blanket statements - could be a case where one department (like the lawyers/contracts people) took one view, absent an understanding of what the leader or marketing department's position/view was. Will be interesting to see if the pre order terms change as a result, or if we get some actual user experiences/photos before the 14 day clock (which started yesterday) runs down.

I’m confused. Just the other day I saw you complaining about their unfair jack puck ‘trade up‘ policy. I agreed with your criticism since I also got the original non-magnetic version shortly before they released the new ones.
