Overall, I am very pleased with it, but there are some things that either aren't working for me or I just haven't figured out yet, so please share a fix or information if you know how to do it:

- Throw out the obvious: No XM Satellite, Carplay/Android auto - dumb IMO, but a personal preference
- The regen braking in normal mode is till aggressive IMO - personal preference
- Not able to switch Spotify accounts on the fly. In fact, you need to have the car in park to log out and switch accounts by logging into a new account. Total pain in the butt when you have others in the car that want to control music
- Would be even better to sync the spotify account with the driver that is logged into the car
- Headrests are not adjustable
- While showing friends that I could raise or lower the car, whatever adjusts the height got stuck on and we could hear the motor in the back running for a long time. Took a while to reset.
- The wireless charging pad area for the phone is small. The phone can slide around while driving and move off of the charging area
- No glove box (I'd prefer one personally for storage)
- The Tunein app is wonky. It has frozen up on us twice. The music channels are pretty bad IMO, too. I like that it has news stations and some podcasts though - subjective
- I am not able to control the cabin temperature through the app, it's greyed out for me. I noticed others have complained about this.
- The R1S does not come with a cargo cover - it's extra $$
- The proximity sensors do not work the best in the rain. I waited about 10 second outside the car once time before it recognized I was there and unlocked the doors
- I have trouble hearing Alexa's voice while music is playing, even if the music is at a lower volume (Is there a setting to fix that?)
- Lastly, and this is just a personal preference: I am OK with more physical controls and knobs in an electric car. It does not need to be so minimalistic.
- When I ask Alexa to call someones alternative number (like their mobile number if they also have a home number listed), she says there is only one number listed.

I am pretty excited overall and look forward to sharing my experience with you all!

Most of these are known and will be what they are like No XM/CarPlay, no glovebox, fixed headrest, etc.

Some will be adjusted in the next update, for instance able to control volume for Alexa, music, map directions independently, there is a thread in the forum with details of the latest update being tested.

Overall, nothing in your list was new and has been mentioned in other threads.

Congrats on the delivery, hope you enjoy it!

Yup, I figured. Glad to know they should get fixed with an update.

I originally thought this too. After 3 months, I just changed my default from Normal Regen to high and like it even better.

One trick that really speeds this up- press a button on your phone in your pocket to wake it up - usually unlocked car instantly when I do this.

" One trick that really speeds this up- press a button on your phone in your pocket to wake it up - usually unlocked car instantly when I do this. " That worked, thanks!

Selecting between normal and high regen is weird. I’m not sure that it actually impacts the amount of regen, I think it just changes how quickly it rolls on. If you are doing 40mph and you completely lift your foot, I think both modes will give you full regen (as indicated by the power display on the IC). The difference is that normal will smooth it out for you more. With high regen, your pedal modulation has a more direct effect.

That’s my observation anyway. I’ve not spent much time in normal regen.
