I have forest edge on my R1T. I couldn't say whether my headrests have wood on the back or not. will have to look.

The black plastic seems like what they would have used with the Explore trim.

I am wondering why just that piece?

They have a version that's all plastic and no wood. Frankly I don't think Munro is giving them this type of feedback. If he is, Rivian should save some more money and fire them.

If its the same metal looking material on the sides of the headrests (that surround the yellow accent), it honestly doesn't bother me.

WTF, seriously?

sell us the vehicle you advertised and we put $1000 to reserve. you can take out the camp speaker, which is totally useless 99% of the time i'll be using the vehicle and in my opinion was gimmicky anyway, to save costs. that should save you at least $75 per vehicle.

FWIW, my recently delivered BM R1S has plastic too.

Are the R1T's still wood? Or did the "cheapening" extend to both models? Glad my R1T is 100% before all "Munroification" - S/N 99XX. Still happy to have the magnetic clips and 12v in the fruck!

For those who ordered Black Mountain or Ocean Coast interior..... You do not get WOOD accents unless you chose the Wood color option.... for example "Black Mountain + Dark Wood Ash"
