At 16K+ miles on our R1T (and loving it!), we really appreciate all the software updates and continuous improvements and bug fixes.

Here's my current list:

#1 = Odometer (lifetime miles) always visible on the driver's screen. E.g. when taking it to a tire place, they can't easily see the # of miles on the vehicle and we have to assist with finding it on the right page. Seems like this should be a standard practice.

Would love to see the data for several past charging sessions, not just the most recent one. Maybe ~5 or so.

It would be nice to see the tire pressure readings on a page somewhere, to get a sense of how well they are matched. We have this for our travel trailer and it can be helpful for adding air as needed.

I don't know if this is already in place or not - for the range calculator in GPS mode (when doing directions), does it include anticipated elevation changes? More advanced would also be to factor in the wind forecast...(perhaps minor unless towing a trailer).

And finally, this is a wish list item, and probably hardware related (so maybe for a future version of the truck) - the ability to do 2-way residential charging so the truck can be a backup for your house if the grid goes out.
At a minimum, if possible, allow for 15 amps per outlet instead of a total of 15A at any one time.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but to reinstate the ability to use the steering wheel controls to cycle between saved radio stations. Right now it’s been changed to seek to the next available station, and not the favorites. Maybe a long press to seek, and a short press to skip to next favorite.

Would add on a monthly charging or energy used . And a way to estimate cost of energy used.

Had it to a limited amouont with the wall charger, but it disappeared with the latest update.

I don't know if you know this, but you can see your charging history in the app, go to Manage Account and then to Charging History. I would like it if they improved it to show monthly charing totals, and maybe the ability to label or categorize chargers, so I can see my history with chargers, or group a set of charges together for a road trip. I would like to be able to compare home charging totals verse charging at work. I have no idea how it works if you have to Rivians. This would be nice to have, by no means is it necessary.

And for tire pressures, just do a long press on the left steering wheel button (either left or right) to cycle between tire pressures, efficiency, or GPS. I think you need to press and hold for about 1 second.

I haven't read through all 30ish pages of this, but I would like a Cold Weather Comfort start option. If the cabin is less than 40 degrees, have the drivers heated seat and heated steering wheel come on automatically (maybe depending on battery level). Maybe the defrosters also. I think thats how my Wrangler works, and its great. I know the latest update lets us start those remotely through the app, but I don't always get a cell signal where I work.

Dashcam. It’s clearly recording video and uploading it based on the gigs of data uploads over my network after each drive. Just let me access the camera feeds and transfer to usb c.

Gate opener support. The garage door functionality is great but I need a gate opener to get in and out of my neighborhood.

Just curious...does your Wrangler only do the drivers seat, and does it work really well? Mine is often tricked by radiator heat after and also if the sensor thinks over like 40 deg or something, it won't trigger the seat. I wish they made that user selectable. Also wish passenger seat was triggered on at same time as drivers.

Alexa Bad! ? - Improved integration with iOS (or Android) - Alexa was a really bad choice. I understand the Amazon influence but they are way over their tips on this one. I want to play music, I want to text and I want real directions (crazy responses when you type locations). Too much Amazon influence... bad Amazon, bad!

Calendar - I miss my calendar. In my Model Y if I'm on the road and have to take a business call, I can click into the calendar and the dial information is one click away. Would be nice to have this feature back. I have to fumble through my phone (and I can't go on auto-pilot for added safety).

Charge Preconditioning - Charging seems really slow, seems like maybe the battery isn't being preconditioned. But if they can improve the charging time that would be great. I think I read people are hacking this, but shouldn't have to hack.

Mobile App Charging Controls - Better control of charging and charging stats from mobile app

Auto Folding/Unfolding Side Mirrors at Destination - Would like to see my mirrors fold when I arrive at my driveway so I can pull in to my garage. I'm having to reach over and set it manually. First Truck and it's a tight fit. The first night I had this beast in my garage next to my Tesla Model Y I programmed the Y to do this but sadly found I couldn't do this in my R1T.

Automatically Open/Close Garage - when I pull up or leave I have to click then click. Would be nice for it to open automatically as I pull up my drive-way. Or at least a one click. I know some people have multiple garages, but I don't.

Maps Traffic Indicator - Really need green, yellow and Red to be more prominent - don't by bashful. Also, suggest alternative routes dynamically.

Tire Size Administration - Ability to change tire size between my All Seasons and All Terrains. I'm buying AT's in the coming weeks, and I'm dreading the "We will get back to you" customer services to make these changes.

I have a 2019 JL Rubicon, about 37k miles, original owner. With Fabric seats. I have never had an issue with the seat/steering wheel heaters. I think they both get much warmer than the R1T, to the point where I turn them off after probably about 10 minutes. Someone can argue the R1T works better because you don't necessarily have to turn them off for comfort, but my soft top Wrangler definitely gets much warmer, and quicker. I do think its only the drivers side that turns on automatically. I haven't run into an issue with the radiator giving a false indication on the ambient temperature.

Mine is a 19 JL Rubicon too. I agree...seat heaters and steering wheel have significantly stronger heating elements than the R1T. I just wish passenger seat would cone on with remote start and then that seat heater and wheel would come on at higher temps....but I have become soft compared to my younger days...

Superb, thank you! This forum is so useful. I thought I had looked all through the app, but apparently not. Will test the tire pressure thing tomorrow.
