Yes you take the credit in the year you put the vehicle in service, so 2023.

Talked with my “tax guy” today and he’s not certain CO will honor the BPA but we are going to try. Year put in service for Fed and BPA 99% positive. Looking like 2023 for my delivery but there may still be a chance. Still sitting on Processing Est. after confirming the config and told by guide that it’s in production. so…

That’s fair, I just figure between the time off for holidays and the January plant re-tooling or refitting that I keep hearing about, it’ll more than likely be a while before anything actually happens

Picked up my R1T today (one day earlier than originally scheduled) based on Dallas SC contacting me. No quality issues noticed yet. Further checking to be done tomorrow. Really enjoying the vehicle now. SC guy told me nearly 90 vehicles arrived last week.

Well guess my guide was wrong yet again. Delivery scheduled for next Friday! They were willing to go as early as Wednesday but I'm still trying to offload my Tesla ahead of this purchase and wanted to buy myself a couple more days.

I picked up on Tuesday morning ? and it was a fantastic week.

And then last night an unlicensed, uninsured 17 year old decided she didn’t need to stop at her red light and I tried as hard as I could to avoid her but she nicked the front corner and wheel. It’s all pretty minor.

I put in a request for the SC to reinstall the parking sensor. I may just get a new 22” Sport Bright wheel and tire and make this one the spare since I don’t have one in my config. Then I will just live with the scuff? because it doesn’t seem worth making a claim on my own policy.

Do you have uninsured motorist coverage? If you do, your deductible should not apply and you won’t get hit with a rate increase inducing claim.

Congrats on the truck! Sucks for the accident.

Similar boat as folks here: got my 8 steps on 12/19, got an offer from Carmax waiting, and now just waiting for my Truck to make it to Richmond. I’m hearing with the storms they may be delayed past 1/1, which has me concerned for the Tax credit… so if i need to hop a train to Richmond, so be it.

Similar boat as folks here: got my 8 steps on 12/19, got an offer from Carmax waiting, and now just waiting for my Truck to make it to Richmond. I’m hearing with the storms they may be delayed past 1/1, which has me concerned for the Tax credit… so if i need to hop a train to Richmond, so be it.

Is your truck in transit to Richmond? They’re back to transporting by train and that takes a few weeks.
