Absolutely no technical details. What a waste of time.

Looks like their version of gear tunnel is a pass through from the frunk to the cabin.

the extendable beds looks neat as well.

It’s a nice looking truck.

But as the former owner of a Honda Element, I will say those suicide doors are a f#cking nightmare when trying to load or unload with anything next to your vehicle. :headbang:

They’ve shown us they’re good at CGI and can make a cool looking concept vehicle. Congrats

That thing is absolutely crazy. Seems REALLY big too. Really interesting features:
  • Suicide / Coach doors
  • Frunk to cabin pass through
  • Six passanger?
  • Biggie-sized Rambox where the entire rear quarter folds up.
  • Power folding midgate
  • Extending bed where the barn door tailgate swings out and becomes the sides.
It's like they threw all the crazy ideas into one truck. I'm fascinated on how may of them will make it into the production truck and if they'll meet the 2024 production date.

That's how you know the truck is a concept and not anywhere near ready for production. RAM did anyone who might be interested a favor.

Yeah - between them and what appeared to be a 100% glass roof, there is no way that this thing wouldn't pancake occupants in a rollover.

I'll believe it when I see it. Concepts rarely, if ever, turn out like that in reality.

My CGI comment was meant more for when they were showing the truck having a projector, and the heads up display that can see through objects, and the projectors on the ground in front of the truck. As far as I’ve seen that’s all just CGI and isn’t in the real concept vehicle

Concept or not, there are lots of useful features embedded in the truck. Some of those features will definitely will show up in the production version.

My favorite is the fold down - barn door tail gate. It folds as a normal as well as open as a door. Furthermore, the bed extends as needed in addition to cab opening up for extra bed length.

I'm sure that many R1T owners would love to have the ability for the bed to extend when needed, as shown in the RAM. Great utility feature.
