I have an early pre-order for the sliders but have been leaning towards changing to the running boards for a number of reasons. Nonetheless, getting antsy for some rock slider photos/videos to be able to make my final decision.

s00n?!

Also, I applaud you (and your team) for working so hard to please the masses. The pill/slot design is much improved in my opinion. Can’t wait to get them on the truck!

I too would "prefer" a solid stamped plate over one with any holes in it, but that doesn't appear to be on the menu at this time. As noted before, hopefully something they may offer separately at later date for those that want to change just the plate, since they are apparently bolt on plates rather than welded?

@EV Sportline Do you have a feel for when you will “start” shipping preorders - for those who have confirmed they are good with the current design and have selected a pattern?

The triple slot is a nice touch. Today while washing the truck, I noticed the staggered oval pattern on the bed rails. Mimicking a design like that would be a nice touch, and incorporate some cohesiveness for an aftermarket part.

If someone else has made this observation, consider my statement an echo.

Triple slot design mimics the oval shape of the headlights. Definitely like it better.
I'm prefacing this with "I'M KIDDING", don't take this serious, but your comment got me thinking they could just do this, to mimic the front end (two headlights on each side of the Hood logo) of the Rivian, but again, I'm kidding.....

Wow! So I step away for a few weeks from followMing this thread. I tried to read most of the comments or at least the ones that weren’t too wordy and long! Anyway, that’s my black truck in all the photos.

I’m not associated with @EV Sportline other than I loan them my truck occasionally and add cool stuff to it. I just wanted to vouch for them as I’ve gotten to know them over the last several months after first purchasing a set of their wheels and they kindly offered to mount and install them for me. Everything they is top notch and they are truly looking for perfection.

I’ve been testing out the latest prototype for a little over 2 weeks now and they are awesome. They look great and function incredibly. I like the cutout they have on the prototype, but I get it, it looks a little too close to the Rivian compass. Either way, whatever the final design is, I’m sure it will be great. And it sounds like there might be choices!!

I just wanted to speak up for them and spread some confidence to all the doubters and naysayers!! Hold tight they’re coming!

Yeah, the Rivian compass, sure. Maybe you'd prefer a plus symbol with one leg longer than the other three?

Will there be any load test demos or videos of the production design before these ship out?
Yes, that has been an integral part of developing these. Were we ended is far from where we originally started, and that is because of testing and learning.

Yes, tread plates bolt-on. So changing them down the road is totally doable. Stamped plates are not something we can easily or quickly do....but we can offer other plates down the road, it is possible.
