I just got access to the R1T Shop this morning for Denver - there are currently 51 R1T in the shop!! Also I found it interesting there are 2 with powered tonneau cover AND a launch edition launch green also in the shop! I'm pretty married to the 22" wheels (I am sitting on a set of X-Ice Michelin 22" tires ready to go once delivered) but I could pull the trigger on a few options if I was feeling crazy....just not my ideal setup. UGH!

Congrats DT...What an awesome problem to have! Good luck picking - 51 sounds like a huge variety. Now's the time to add those options that you've been toying with but couldn't pull the trigger on...load it up!

Wow! That is some self-restraint! I was a bit shocked when I suddenly got invited to the Shop and was struck with trepidation. My wife finally said "just push the button and quit analyzing every aspect of it..." and she was right. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger and I've been loving every minute owning this truck. It is the bomb but still a tough call...good luck!

Ya I get it! I have a few non-negotiables. I really would prefer FE or OC interior and not Black. I also need 22” tires as I already bought my snow tires for the truck. And I’ve been sold on limestone since the beginning but could be convinced on another color but don’t love anything as much as limestone…and with all the current set ups, there’s nothing quite compelling enough to get me to pull the trigger!

Someone said last week that Rivian still actually manufactures some new “launch editions“ every few thousand vehicles, so it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s been sitting there unclaimed, etc. Could be brand new without an order matched to it.

FWIW I think I had mine 3-4 days after I ordered. Fast.

Same experience for me. Ordered on Thursday night, delivered Monday morning. Took me about 20 minutes to install. Now I'm waiting for Xcel to approve my application to the "Optimize my charge" program, and will then apply for the $500 rebate.

Just over $700 delivered so the Xcel $500 and Federal 30% rebates will make it essentially free.

Would anyone in Colorado be interested in either loaning (happy to pay) a set of your jack pucks or going in on a shared group purchase on some pucks? I will literally use a set twice per year and it seems excessive to spend $200 on a set, but would be happy to share them with the community.

Xcel is pretty quick to respond, all mine have been approved as well and I typically get responses from them in a few hours. It's been pretty easy which you can't always say about Xcel.

There's a thread on an adhesive option, I'm wondering about other options and how well they work (or don't work), especially now that at least some owners have had a chance to drive through a few seasons. (I'm an R1S reservation holder; I think in this case the R1T experience applies too.) Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I use this, but only if I’m parked downtown where they love handing out tickets for no front plate. Otherwise I just keep it in my frunk.

I highly recommend this. Cheap, easy, and works and looks great. I had to adjust for the sensors when i first installed, but now it's perfect.

today I put in a support ticket to get a spare tire. I was motivated because my R1T picked up a screw and now has a slow leak. However the Rivian support team told me that they cannot sell me a spare.

So now I’m asking if 3 of y’all want to get together for a group buy of 4 20“ standard AT wheels/tires. I’m tired of screwing around with Rivian. I don’t want their garbage jack anyways.

Anyone game?
