I mean, that’s not great. Obviously. But it does say the cases were all amongst construction contractors and not people directly affiliated with the company.

Unless things get way worse, I wouldn’t expect this to impact things for us

Actually it says 31 are Rivian employees and 61 are construction workers.

I looked at the state COVID site. They are in their third wave, numbers and hospitalizations are creeping up like in January. The vaccinations are distributed to about 21.8% of the population and they seem to be moving forward at a good pace. As of April 12th anyone 16 and up can get vaccinated.

At this point the state has no plan to revert back to a previous stage of closures so time will tell. Normal is in McClean county which is near the hotspots for the state so care will need to be taken and there is still a possibility it could impact production.
