I have seen the concept truck in person. I looked at the truck from every angle for a full 20 minutes. It’s actually attractive in the flesh. 2D Videos and photos don’t do it justice.Any of those options would be welcome compared to what they are planning to make. I think Musk's luck will run out with this one...
It's "attractive" to YOU. Which is perfectly fine, but it does not mean everyone or even a majority of EV shoppers will agree. You can't deny it's a polarizing design, which comes with a certain amount of risk right there. And you are taking Elon's word for it there are "1 million" reservations. We are talking about a pathological liar here. Very little of what he says can be assumed to be true.I have seen the concept truck in person. With well over 1 million deposits the Cybertruck qualifies as a bonafide hit. Rivian is blessed that it’s R1T currently doesn’t compete with Cybertruck.
agreed, I feel less of myself for having clicked on this thinking there was some legitimacy.this is silly. “Someone asked an image compiling algorithm to put together tesla and pick up truck and it made something less worse than Elon musk’s strung out triangle fever dream”
no shit
I too am disappointed there was no poo emoji with Tesla headlamps on it.this is silly. “Someone asked an image compiling algorithm to put together tesla and pick up truck and it made something less worse than Elon musk’s strung out triangle fever dream”

The purpose of the Clustertruck design is profitability.
Deposits aren’t sales. And a lot of time, people have more than one deposit at a time on multiple vehicles, like I did, and so far I have only converted one of 5 to an actual purchase. Some people put a deposit down just to brag about it. I’m sure Tesla will sell a lot of them, some people love the Tesla juice. But I think it’s naive to think it’s going to be anywhere near a million of them. The F150 has sold around 650k-900k a year the last 10 years. With well over 1 million deposits the Cybertruck qualifies as a bonafide hit. Given that stainless steel is more expensive than normal automotive steel, combined with all the other promised goodies on this truck and the size of it I am very curious where they price it. I don't see how they price it less than an X.I know someone who put in a reservation because their 15 year old son was going bonkers over the CT. The parents have no intention of actually buying the truck, but if the kid wants to buy it on his own if it ever ships, the reservation is in. Of course, how many 18-20 year olds could afford this truck? IMO there are tons of reservations that were done on a $100 whim, and the drop rate will be high.
