I have not had gear guard turned on. I was playing with it yesterday and had a question. I thought it was supposed to give a visual indication on the screen when it started recording. I am seeing videos if I enable it and walk around the truck but I get zero feedback that anything has been tripped or that it is recording.

Is this normal? I’ll play with it some more but was curious how it was behaving for others.

Is it possible that you are a mutant and your body emits a powerful electromagnetic field that allows you to evade all but the most sensitive instruments?

I think you need to enable it and fully walk away before it will trigger and start notifying you. We walked up to a limestone R1T the other day and my wife got all excited when Gary came up on the screen after a few seconds.

I’ll play with it some more. I did set it, locked the truck, then went back 5 minutes later, I did get a video but no visual notification. I’ll test some more later this week. Thanks.
