The variations we get in efficiency and vampire drain amongst owners seems pretty wide. In about 45 of ownership days I’ve averaged maybe 1.5 at best in 30-50 degree temps. On a 2 hour road trip I was finally able to get up to 1.9 on the highway going about 70, presumably because the battery heated up enough. My vampire drain is awful though - drove about 8 miles over a 4 day stretch and lost 26% battery. It’s not normally that bad, but about 4% per day is normal for me.If it was a battery issue, your truck would be on fire. That's a lot of extra energy being dumped to no-where. I can get nearly 3 mi/kWh in conserve on my slow short commute in the winter time if the wind is at my back, and traffic is such that I'm driving much slower and forced to accelerate at a snails pace, but typically it's more like <1.5 if I'm able to drive like I stole it.
I can’t fathom ever getting to 3 kWh/mile except in perfect conditions. Are you having really low vampire drain as well by any chance?
