Here's a motherload of EV truck/SUV production info from an annual vehicle production database/report compiled by IHS Markit, a research and analysis firm.

It lists the R1T, R1S and R2R! Also listed are the current Tesla models and future ones such as the Cybertruck, Cybervan and an unnamed "C-CUV" (Model 2?).

WOW jackpot of info right there! Good to see R2R confirmed, can't wait to see how close they stick to the rally inspired vehicle idea.

And a Tesla Cybervan... really?!

Curious where they have the R1S starting in September, I have not seen that being pushed out another month anywhere. Rivian website that just went through a major overhaul still says August.

I think these are just an analyst's opinion, and not based on any inside information.

Can't believe this is legit. Doesn't really tell me anything.

It's so obviously wrong too. The GMC and the Rivians are all BOF.

Tesla Cybervan projected for 2026. Man, someone has to make a lot of batteries if all these vehicles are built.

August, September, pretty much the same thing when you consider how EVs can miss their targets by about a year. Or, two.

Exactly. I used to compile “development pipeline” lists like this for an IHS competitor in another industry and this just looks like the analyst’s best “educated guess.”

Better than random internet speculation (often we would have word-of-mouth data from other players in the item/project’s value chain and could make some assumptions based on industry standards and what we did know about the development in question) but by no means evidence of some official confirmation.

Honestly this looks like a nothingburger.

We, collectively on this forum, likely have pieced together better information than this analyst.

I would also question where this data comes from and it's validity (life cycle seems a bit short for the Rivian). Also, how can this analyst estimate the life cycle costs of a model that has not even been released yet?
