R1S Shop access live with lots of inventory!

Boy I hope I like the LG in person since I just chose one from the R1 shop over my FG preorder configuration

It's definitely preference and I know a lot of people love it, I was just completely thrown off by how different they both appeared to me in person on the R1S vs. the R1T.

At the same time, all the colors look good and I don't think anyone would be upset with any of them so I wouldn't sweat it if you've already pulled the trigger (I've hesitated over vehicle colors in the past but always end up liking whatever ends up in my driveway).

No reason to not be stoked about your new truck (even in light of my comments above, I'd still take LG today if it meant getting immediately delivery) and really hope you enjoy the hell out it! Such a great vehicle / platform.

Forgive my ignorance and I'm not about to go through and read this whole thread. I have an R1T and I'm not in the market for an R1S, but I'm surprised to see the relatively "reasonable" prices on all these R1s vehicles in shop. I assume they're being snatched up at a high clip.

The prices are specific to the person logging in. If they are pre-March they get the frozen prices. If they are later pre-orders they will see higher prices.

Just received shop access! There was one launch green with forest edge interior, RUS, and 20 ATs. It’s gone now.
I also got assigned a guide at the same time. I reached out and had him confirm my config. How long did it take for others to get a VIN assigned after having their config confirmed?

I confirmed my config 3 months ago. No VIN yet.

Looked like SoCal and Arizona had the same inventory. If that's true, there's only one left right now out of the 25-30 that were dumped-in yesterday evening...

So within 24 h, the Brooklyn one went from 12 to zero R1S. I can't believe 10 people wanted LG with FG interior. They must have added a lot of people or something is up with how they make an R1S available.

When I had shop access before, SoCal inventory would be gone within literally 10-15 min of it being posted (6-10 vehicles would appear each day, then as I refreshed the page every few minutes it would disappear until all were gone in 10-15 min). I sort of wished they had a standard time when they update inventory so everyone can block off their calendars to watch and click.

I just assumed they were making confirmed configurations for existing reservations all the time - maybe a dumb question but why are there so many R1's in the Shop?

I tried to get one of the LG/FE and it was taken as I clicked “confirm.” Once my guide told me I didn’t actually get it, went back in to get the 21” wheel version and that was taken as I clicked confirm. So that was my day.
