Has anyone had experience driving the different wheel sizes on the R1S? I have driven the 20’s and didn’t think anything negative about the ride but I was wondering if anyone has had an opportunity to drive the three wheel sizes and felt a difference in ride quality.

I’ve got 20s on my R1T and I think the ride quality is mostly good. It’s certainly better than my Raptor was. The problem is the suspension noise. IMO that can give you the perception of a rougher ride.

I have the 22s on my R1S, very happy with them and over 6300 miles average around 2.2 miles per kW.

They have almost the same sidewall size as my Jeep GC on 20s and highway ride is similar.

I had an R1T loaner for a week with 20s. Some of the difference could have been between the S and T but the 22s are quieter and corner much better, they also seem quicker on a launch.

Bottom line for me, my off-road use is an occasional fire road, I would have been just as happy with either tire.
