PHONE AS KEY ISSUES

So, I have searched and tried all the things in this forum. I am the SECOND owner of a R1T Launch Edition. Its amazing... however, the truck was transferred into my name yesterday and today I went to add the phone as a key, didn't go well.

As stated above, I have tried all the fixes and still can't get it to work. I don't know how to unlink my phone as it says it wants to connect to it to set up as PAAK. I don't know what to do, any ideas?

Does the truck still have the old owners name on the touchscreen?
If so you have to contact support and they will ask for some documentation to prove ownership. After about a week if all goes well you should get a touchscreen prompt to setup access.

they transferred it into my name. It shows my name as the owner

what did you end up doing?? I’m in the same boat. Everything is transferred over to me but clicking on “Set Up” does not work. No matter what I do.

Sign out. Sign in etc. looking for an actual solution here.

Attempting to add one. This car was recently transferred to me through Rivian, I am the owner and my name is on the car and in the app now.

It will not connect after clicking on "Set Up" on my phone.
I do have Rivian mobile coming on the 6th, which may be the way to go and wait..

Is there already a phone set up? When you go to the settings menu and the phone and key section are there phones paired already? If so delete those first.
There is 2 key cards (which I do not have, previous owner lost them). No phone key setup and a single fob that I have.

I can connect my phone via bluetooth, but when I go into the Rivian app or the Settings on the R1S. It will not give me the prompt to pair as a key. I've done the Sign in/out of the app. I've have Forgotten Device on the R1S. It simply will not go through and fully allow the phone to connect as a key.
