What are y’all seeing for availability for glacier white in the shop? I wish we still had access to just see what comes and goes once we select a vehicle.

I dunno I’ve seen unreasonable and whiny here, I’d describe it more as cautious. ? Flip back to the light!I’m just being unreasonable and whining. There is another thread about someone that just picked one up that had a lot of issues with similar low vin. Give me ten minutes and I’ll probably flip back over to being excited?. Just would have preferred not to wonder why the heck it’s been sitting around.
Other possibility is someone who kept pushing purchasing back and then was unavailable to take delivery.Helps?, but that was pretty normal protocol back then. Now it’s odd to have them sitting so long with tons more in the 9000 range being delivered. I’m going to try to talk my guide into continued shop access or a shop swap one more time then accept it and try to stop worrying.
Was this in response to my question about not seeing a VIN?You’ve already mentally prepared yourself, so it did happen earlier in the thread that someone picked one from the shop and didn’t get it cause they were a little slower than the other person who picked it. Who knows though and they are cranking them out.
Demo drive does matter for some. The reservations likely happened in waves so what seems like a big difference in 2021 in months apart maybe was only a few thousand in actual number. For you that’s pretty late reservation so your demo drive didn’t matter, however you have a guide which makes a big difference if you get the hint…Don't think it matters on the demo drive. I got invited to a demo drive a few months ago. I still have no eta on my R1S reservation (11/22 reservation).
That said, already an R1T owner, so not sure if they makes any difference
Pure speculation so many reasons why it could happen, you won’t know till your guide or CS tells you. Again could be still being built or to be assigned a vin.Was this in response to my question about not seeing a VIN?
That all seems reasonable to me. Not knowing what’s happening is freaking me out though tbh especially with reading and being told mixed info about the vehicles in the shop.Pure speculation so many reasons why it could happen, you won’t know till your guide or CS tells you. 4 GW, none with OC. There was a FE with the 21in wheels this morning for maybe an hour. What are y’all seeing for availability for glacier white in the shop? I wish we still had access to just see what comes and goes once we select a vehicle.
What a steal....Does going with the OC interior somewhat guarantee you won’t end up with a low VIN? Also anyone in this thread that grabbed a vehicle from the shop not get a VIN assigned immediately? I picked out of the shop this Friday but I don’t see a VIN nor do I see the 8 step process opening up. All I see is this. I’m curious as I reached out to CS (guide off on weekends) and he said all vehicles offered in the shop should have VIN’s and be built already. I also got this email.

and that's just the way we like itIt seems like rivian is currently going through a production run of forest edge interiors. The last 5-10 additions to the shop have all been cars of various exterior and wheel makeups but all with FE.
If it’s any consolation and to help you not stress over the VIN, I’m getting mine on Tuesday, it has a late 6200 VIN and I was able to confirm it was built mid April. (It had arrived at the SC when I got it) It will be a week since I locked it in when it is delivered to me. I’m not worried. I kind of wish I could have gotten an earlier one that still has a 12v under the dash, so if yours is older a bit, that could be a plus.Anyone with shop access mind posting some pics of El cap and Forest Green colors. Going to see if there is any that I could talk my guide into swapping my current match due to low Vin worries.
I agree! I couldn’t let it get away. lolWhat a steal....
