Try eBay, just picked up three for $16.71 shipped (total, not each).

I saw an interview with a Mattel person on it a while ago - they target slightly different markets. That's why Matchbox are almost universally "plain real vehicles", while Hot Wheels are more "aspirational" or even fully made-up / silly vehicles.I didn't realize that. They should make a Hot Wheels version of the R1T too then, and up my odds of seeing one.
Very interesting! Thanks for that. Makes sense!I saw an interview with a Mattel person on it a while ago - they target slightly different markets. That's why Matchbox are almost universally "plain real vehicles", while Hot Wheels are more "aspirational" or even fully made-up / silly vehicles.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E for example. The Matchbox is a "plain Mach-E," while the Hot Wheels is a race prototype "Mach-E 1400":

At some point you have to put a price tag on the value of your time. How much time have you spent looking for the Matchbox R1T and what does that pan out in terms of your hourly rate?![]()
I'm not paying $32.
I'm clearing the shelf when I find them to Matchbox other trucks.
Kalispell MT Dollar Tree was a bust too. Who keeps taking all the Rivians?!
I was going to comment how about 7 different "companies" (and counting) have used the exact same wording - to the letter - in advertising the exact same thing. Of course, the pricing varies tremendously (mutters something about Free Market) as well as the shipping costs (Free with prime, all over the place if not). I have learned over the years that Sold By XYZ company, and shipped by Amazon, has a very different rate of success than Sold and Shipped by Amazon.I may have been taken on my $12. I ordered this yesterday with the same description of #38/100 and it said qty 1 was left. And here it is again with qty 4 remaining now! Oh well, supposed to deliver tomorrow and I'll see what comes.

Sorry my friend. I got 7 of them that I found in dollar stores around my area in Maine including 1 at 5 below. Gave 2 to 2 Rivian owners I met here. Will give away the others to our next Rivian event in Maine. ?![]()

???This is configured with the ICE. It has an exhaust system.
That's solid logic, but I can't bring myself to buy the one on Amazon. At some point you have to put a price tag on the value of your time. How much time have you spent looking for the Matchbox R1T and what does that pan out in terms of your hourly rate?
That's the way I thought about it. Instead of spending hours searching high and low, I decided 2 minutes to click through the Amazon order was a better use of my time.
Visit Hoodsport or the Staircase area of the Olympic Peninsula on any given weekend... After I stumble on a pile of them during this trip ?It has to be something I stumble upon during a pit stop or gifted to me.
