Thank you. I will listen more carefully for the axel chatter but I don’t think I have that.

I do have some ticking noises especially when I first start out that I think are associated with the air suspension.

A Boise area thread is a good idea.

My wife and I are on the shorter side of the height scale so running boards could be a nice convenience.

I camp but don’t intend to rock climb.

Well, Google shows that the Boise location is open and has hour of operation but Rivian is not ready to start scheduling service appointments yet. s00n

FWIW we have had our R1T for 1 yr. and 6,500 miles. It has been a joy to own and drive. We use it to go camping(roof top tent), haul stuff and pleasure drive. We have not had any issues. It is our all around vehicle that fits all of our needs, especially it's size. Not too small and not too big but packed with power and storage.

Today we test drove an R1T at the Boise Service Center. The service manager told us we were the first people ever to complete a test drive in Idaho. Truck was amazing and the Rivian manager was very knowledgeable and great to work with. Only downside is were were told our July/August delivery would probably be missed and to plan on our R1S sometime in October. Guessing Rivian is still having a few production issues, plus the Boise Service Center is in the process of getting up an running to support deliveries.

Great to hear they're open! ...not great to hear of delays. This is a bit surprising given recent production numbers and RJ's statement they're prioritizing R1S vs. R1T production at about 70%/30% respectively from now until the end of the year.

Will have it in august as I have a vin, the R1S is built, and just waiting on shipment to Boise. My guide gave 3-6 weeks and should be ready for pickup. Have completed all steps except payment and scheduling pickup.
