While what I really wish I could fit in this space is a tonneau, preferably powered, I know more than a few of us are wanting to reclaim this unused space. I was considering a water tank, but the cost was pretty high and I don’t want to be responsible for one leaking in someone else’s truck.

So I’ve been tinkering with this drawer set up. Installation takes about 15 minutes, but I’ve done it too many times at this point, so it could be closer to an hour. The set up I have right now is some brackets I designed and 3D printed, drawer slides, door closers, aluminum pegboard, and some shock cord. There’s not a lot of clearance in the space, and it’s not totally weatherproof. In the couple weeks I’ve had it installed the drawer slides have shown a little rust, and some of my stuff has been wet when I’ve pulled it out.

I’m more than willing to help anyone else get a similar setup, if they’re interested. I don’t have anything up for sale on the website yet, and I feel like this is still a bit of a rough draft rather than a polished product. It could be lockable, but a hole would need to be drilled into the back panel.

Hopefully that didn’t void your warranty ?

Expandable confirming Water bladder?
I have one of those, except it isn't in my T and it is usually full of a water-like fluid.
