Lots of us waiting, the website still says summer of 23, that ends next week but no one really knows. I spoke with CS last week and they had no additional information.

If Rivian removed the compact spare from the original configuration, I was told that they will send you an email when the spare becomes available.

Hope its true, but my expectation is low on this....

Strange that there's some R1S configurations in the shop that have the compact spare tire.

Old configurations or are they actually starting to ship vehicles with these but no gear shop availability?

We have two trips planned but have put off executing until we get the compact spare. It seems a bit ironic that a vehicle promoted as an "Adventure" vehicle does not have a spare. I need a spare not just for planned travels, we live on gravel county roads in farming country where frequent metal objects are on the road. I am urging Rivian to place some emphasis on this issue.

Yeah, they officially have missed that window. Emailed my guide for more info but have not heard back yet. Bummer as I hear some of the R1Ss in the shop have the spare included.

I guess if this is my only real complaint life is good.

I thought I did have a spare in my order too. Got mine without it.
