I want to drop my headliner to fix a rattle between the 2glass panels and to remove a sticker that should have been removed during assembly that you can see from the passenger side.

does anyone know how to remove it without destroying it?

You'll probably want to make it a service visit in case you break something. Part of it is magnetically held on which is easy to pull down and snap back (sun shade install) but there are some clips at the front I think. I had it misaligned from the factory and they had a new one ready to go in if they couldn't fix it when they did the service appointment. A few people couldn't get the clips back in nor could mobile service. But the service center was able to reposition without putting a new one in.

I'm sure it's manageable but I wouldn't want to risk it when the rattle could be a major fix or easily broken roof glass.

Good luck!

thanks for the advice… i kinda knew that would be the case, but i was hoping i was wrong. SC is almost 3 hours away. I will put in a ticket and add it to the list of minor but annoying issues that have cropped up that are starting to make the drive worth it.

There is a mobile tech based out of Raleigh now. It’s worth pushing to have them try anything annoying. Last mobile visit I had the tech was training the Raleigh tech. They both said they try to do more in the field to help the customer avoid a 3 hr trip to the SC. Not sure what’s on your list but it’s worth letting them try.
