What I don’t get is how can I not configure a Standard battery pack for myself but can pick what someone else presumably built but eventually gave up, from the shop?

That’s not what most of the shop vehicles are. Rivian probably builds them in batches and are not made to order.

Apparently, they started making some of those configs and got put on the shop, per the rep I spoke to.

standard pack in general will be available for config in “anytime in 4-6 weeks” ?

If you sort by lowest lease price, seems like they’re really trying to get rid of quad motors…

The day they announced the standard battery packs you could see some configs in the shop. So they could not be customer rejects.
