I've been talking with service about the 50% SoC bug (it'll stop at 47%), but some reason they don't just look it up in their internal issues database and tell me it's already being worked on. :headbang:

Yeah, I'm totally cool with this offering, especially given all the stuff they have been doing lately on other important fronts. And I actually like getting functionality (finally) on the rear screen, as my kids are very happy to hear they'll have some agency over the experience in the back seat for sure.
But yes, blinker cameras, infotainment (probably waiting for Rivian's streaming subscription service offerings to be finalized), and better phone/UI interfacing generally are all on my list of hoped for future updates.

Ford has had a score for a while, it is using Plugshare and you can see the Plugshare comments, but is 1 to 5 stars, whereas Plugshare is 1 to 10 ratings. They also provide a leave feedback button when you use a charger.
Hope they're paying PlugShare for doing the work, or at least giving them credit publicly....

This feature is probably being implemented entirely through ABRP. ABRP added charger ratings last year, and Rivian bought ABRP last year before that. Seems like a logical and expected step to integrate that functionality into the vehicle nav.

My wife does not shows up as a passenger in the front seat about 30% of the time with the seatbelt fastened. She is 105~108 lbs.

Not registering when seated means two key things:
1) no airbag support in case of an accident
2) passenger side climate control doesn't function separately from synced mode.

After multiple attempt with the service center/mobile service, Rivian can only say that it's within spec.

Rivian SC staffs say that SW fix is coming. That was 4 firmwares ago.

Instead of tinkering with some of the small infotainment enhancements, one would think that safety fix should be at higher priority.

Unfortunately the problem is so small in terms of affected population, they have done nothing to date.

If I were to guess the April release will have cool stuff just in time to be included in the Q1 reporting. I do like the frequent deployments of bug fixes. ??

The streaming seems low priority to me, I just use my iPad if I need to burn time at a charger. ??‍♂ Are there a lot of people burning a lot of time at public chargers?

I was talking about Ford, @VSG, not ABRP. The prior poster, @azbill, said Ford was displaying PlugShare scores (adapted) and PlugShare reviews inside its own applications and displays.

No harm, no foul if ABRP is doing its own work for us. Automated user feedback is more efficient and comprehensive than anything PlugShare is capable of doing.

Same with news. If a site is doing their own journalism, that should get credit and revenue. If they're just presenting others' work, the actual creators and publishers need credit and compensation.

I'm REALLY looking forward to getting accurate charger information, regarding all important variables (cost, reliability, speed, amenities) needed to optimize individuals' charging decisions.

Thanks!

Rear Display Improvements

We updated the rear display with a new layout, and added more functionality
I forgot the screen was back there LOL.

well.. that is a bust.... and the reason why I didn't leak out any info from the version of 2024.11.00 I saw in my neighbors R1. It was supposed to have the blindspot camera view, which I even have video of. I sent him an email just now to ask what happened to that feature. Everything else from Riviantrackr seems about right.
How did it look?

I read through the updates and was excited, thinking how much work that is to add features to the nav with all the back end programming needed. Also reworking the whole rear display UI is no small feat. Then I read the comments of how worthless people think the updates are, lol. Ah well...
