You say this after heaping praise on Tesla .. who is known world wide for meeting delivery timelines and expectations. They never miss (*cough* cybertruck *cough* FSD *Cough* Robotaxi *cough*)

I actually have only owned Rivian shares (bought pre-IPO and sold almost all of them for a small profit), and I still own a few shares.

However, if you look through the history a lot of the RJ fanboys keep averaging down and thus have massive financial conflicts of interest. I'm still waiting for a single one of them to commit to rejecting the NACS adapter...

I would add that access to the supercharger network has been done on time and emails starting the process of getting adapters is also on time. Yes they have missed some dates but this is on track.

And with a little fore thought and no aversion to going a little rogue you could have been using NACS chargers for a couple of weeks already. ?

Just a total hypothetical but I imagine it can be really emasculating when your wife chooses a car brand that you recommend against and might lead one demonstrate that ongoing resentment by blaming the car for things that is not responsible for.

When I was a kid my mother got a particular dog against my father's wishes. My dad always hated that dog, and blamed it for everything. It wasn't just a hatred of dogs, either, as he'd liked many others. It was what the dog represented that infurated him.

This forum needs balanced content for potential owners. If you look at my posting history you will see consistent criticism of the charging experience/infrastructure and contrasts with Tesla. Of course, I'm going to post when my lived experience continues to support those views.

I would prefer all of the vitriolic anti-Tesla folks skipped these threads, so the next time you see a title mentioning Tesla just move along, same for COdogman, Dark-fx, and DuoRivians

Which has been acknowledged by literally everyone here, including myself multiple times. As have the mistakes made by Rivian along the way, and there have been plenty.

This thread actually has zero to do with Tesla, which is the funny part. It’s about a very strange person who is mad at Rivian because his wife wanted an R1S and he chose to vacation somewhere he already knew didn’t have a RAN charger. The Tesla chargers that ARE there were broken and that is also somehow Rivian’s fault
