First trip: Gig Harbor to Canon Beach OR.

Great trip, awesome R1S. Non stop with lots left over. Hotel (Surfsand) had chargers and we recharged overnight. Had to turn lane keep off on the route from CB to Tillimuck! Curvy roads made lane keep very busy and distracting. A real learning experience for us, real time driver+ on the I 5 part made it really nice. The only downside: lots of BUGS on the front!

Surfsand. What a great little place! Love the bonfires on the beach.

I took a trip from GH to Bandon Dunes a few month ago and agree about driver+. Great on the freeway but sketchy as hell on roads with any kind of curves.

DE GARDE OR BUST.

We're headed from GH area to North Bend end of next month for a coastal camping trip with the RTT and new pup, then inland for Painted Hills and Columbia River adventures, hitting up Adams on the return. The better half insists on starting with a hotel stay at Hallmark, then we can rough it.

It's been a while since I've been to de Garde. I'm going to out that way in a few weeks and was already planning to stop in there. Great stuff! Taking my buddy who loves anything barrel aged and/or sour.
