Something clearly isn't adding up. Whole car burnt to a crisp, and the old wooden structure surrounding it is still standing??? The only way I could imagine such a thing, is if the fire department was on it quick and got the house put out while R1S batteries kept reigniting, maybe?

My first thought was this was altered given the clickbait title, but I looked at OP’s post history and, while recently joined, it seemed legit. This made me give them the benefit of the doubt.

The front metal structure is Rivian to my untrained eye. Is AI that good to make a photo like this, I don’t know. Is weird the unburnt wood in the corner.

I looked at some photos of EV fires and this seems fairly typical. It looks like the fire department got OP’s R1S extinguished relatively quickly. Another possibility is it was an external fire outside of the vehicle. 12 volt battery fire?

I am not a fire investigator.

Sorry for your loss; hoping no one was hurt.
I had an ‘85 S-10 burn to ground in the driveway when I was a “kid”.
Luckily dad didnt let me park in the garage (rear main leak) or we would have lost a 3 car garage and 2 other vehicles.
Edit to add; give OP a break. I am sure random internet strangers are not currently their top priority.
