They were already Unreal Engine. At least that's what the guy said in my demo drive in February before I got my gen1 R1S in March.

The open source credits are right on your center display, probably in the service section I think, go read them to see what runs the car. Unreal is not new.

Yup, but I think they also said the processor is not new.

Essentially, it's just a new GPU, and it's not clear if that GPU is part of the infotainment or part of a seperate ADAS module (I thought it was mentioned, but I don't see that). According to this article the GPU is in the "Autonomy Compute Module", not the infotainment.
