I was wondering about this as well it appears they had a massive push then it slowed down. I'm hoping it is just a slowdown so they can have people put on some miles before pushing out in large batches again.



I know right before the holiday means I need to get it before the upcoming road trip or when I get home. I never update when away from home just in case it doesn't work right.



If you don't like it I think you can turn it off. My wife's car has them and I never use them. But my parent's Honda Minivan I found them it to be a key feature as you really can't see well on the passenger side no matter how you adjust the mirror.

I turned them off. Prefer to use the side mirrors.

Please pay attention to how strong your regeneration is before the update and let me know if you feel the same thing where high regen has been reduced a little after the update.

Mine just started downloading 5 minutes ago (notified via Electrifi and see gigs worth of traffic on the network). So rollout is still going.

Can you walk us through how you did that?

If you sign up for electrafi.com they support software notifications when your truck gets the nod to start downloading it. As for network traffic, I have a unifi system at home and can monitor individual clients for network activity.

I use 1 Pedal driving 99% of the time and my regen feels the same as before the update.

Just came back to post the same. I just received notification that mine is downloading via HomeAssistant.

Looks like they just pushed another wave a minute ago! I've been checking every 5 minutes and my update just became available. 2024 quad motor R1T.

Yeah, it's a big download, I was expecting about 2gig, but I'm well over 6 13gig of traffic down now.

I think know what I felt on my post update drive.

They’ve improved the pitch management and because of that I didn’t feel as much of a dip on the front end when coming to a full stop.

Same regen with improved pitch management .

This was a very nice update Rivian rolled out.
