I have both a 2022 Launch Edition R1T and a 2024 Adventure R1T and I'm having trouble getting the Spotify Premium subscription I have to work on the 2022 R1T. I didn't do anything that I'm aware of to the 2024 model to have it automatically connect to my Premium Subscription so i don't get all the ads. I'm taking the 2022 to Chicago from Charlotte tomorrow and prefer to figure out Spotify connection so i don't have to listen to an ad every 5 songs!

Any thoughts on what needs to be done to get the subscription to work in both trucks? Appreciate the help!

Depending on your Spotify account, you may need to sign out of Spotify in your 2024 before you can sign in on your 2022. At least give it a try...It may not like you having multiple devices signed in at the same time.

Should be able to log into many devices simultaneously. I have my Spotify account logged into almost a dozen different devices including the truck. Spotify just restricts streaming to a certain number simultaneously depending on your subscription.

What error are you seeing in the Rivian when you try to log in to Spotify?

Guess that's where i'm stuck. Not a tech wizard and on the 2024 don't think i did anything in the truck to log in. It simply picked it up I guess from my Samsung phone. Is there a setup screen to log in on the R1T settings? I could not find one.

This is from the manual on logging into Spotify:
Rivian R1T R1S Spotify Premium connects in 2024 R1T but not the 2022 R1T. What am I doing wrong? 1724354407169-rx

If you open Spotify in the truck and tap on the little person icon in the top right, it should show you your Spotify account details and allow you to log out. You could try logging out and back in again - or it may show that you aren't logged in at all.

Thanks so much! It worked, and now i can enjoy it on my trip this weekend. Appreciate the help! I see you have a Miata. We had a 1990 Miata when we lived in Michigan. Was a lot of fun until we moved to NJ and it became the commuter car. At 6'3", my head stuck out above the windshield when top was down. Still blame that on my hair loss!!!:CWL:

Nice! Before that I had a '92 Miata that I drove around Blacksburg while I went to school. Good place for a car like that, that's for sure!

Blacksburg's a great place. As you can tell by my Rivian account, i was a Hokie. In fact, i was the Hokiebird in 1979-80. If you were at Tech in 1990s, you may not remember the old Long Neck Hokiebird. I was the next to last year they used that "costume" before the current Hokiebird. I was also the only Hokiebird. Now they have several that rotate. Great town, Great College! Go Hokies!
