Rivian App displays temp in Celsius.

I also had my IOS already on Fahrenheit and had to toggle to Celsius and then back to Fahrenheit for it to work.

I also noticed that the temperature showing on the display was incorrect. If you run the air conditioner by pressing the run button and then turned it off, it changes the temperature previously shown.

I had to toggle my IOS setting from F to C then back to F for the app to start displaying Fahrenheit.

I just got my truck today. Are the same problem with the app displaying only Celsius. I took the advice of this text string and reset my Apple iOS settings to Celsius then back to Fahrenheit and refresh the Rivian app and it fixed it

It's crazy to me that even today, years later this is an issue. Rivian has some serious tech debt if it can't even figure out how to display the temperature correctly. The resetting the ios weather app to Celsius then to back to Fahrenheit trick is not working for me. Latest IOS, latest Rivian app. Smdh

This thread is 2 years old. The app from the original post barely even exists anymore after all the changes that have occurred since then. Please don't revive ancient threads that don't have any value anymore.

There's a settings menu on the Profile tab, under Manage Account > Units that lets you pick whatever units you want.

Mine is doing the same now too, anyone find a solution to this? It used to display Fahrenheit, now it’s always Celsius

Just remember, 1 degree celcius is the exact temperature rise of 1 kilogram of water using 4184 Joules on energy.
