Rivian NACS Adapters begin arriving!

For me, I got the ready to ship email on 8/30, confirmed my address the same day.

Order was created on my account on 9/9, just checked a few minutes ago, order is still at shipment pending with a 3-7 day shipping method.

Oh I am going to check my account! Same date for confirm address.

Just checked and it looks like it shipped on 9/9 with 3-7 days shipping. Woot woot.

My experience seemed identical: I received my ready-to-ship email 8/30, and my Order History shows "Purchased on September 9" with 3-7 days shipping. But then I noticed the words "Shipment pending" lurking next to the NACS adapter image.

Oh so close, yet that cigar remains elusive.

I picked up my 2023 R1T used on 4/12/24. within the next few days, I called the Rivian service line and requested to be placed on the list to get my Rivian/Tesla NACS DC adapter. Within a week or two I received the first email stating I was added to the list. Two days ago, I received the email that the adapter is ready to be shipped.

Just got my address confirmation, email, R1T VIN 184xx, delivery date ???.

Where did you find your “order history”? When logged in I can see my initial vehicle purchase transaction summary with order details, is that where you are seeing this show up? I just got my address confirm a couple days ago and curious where this info will show up.

To the tune of 8K per week. And yes, the aftermarket will cool. Explains why both of them rushed to get to market. One did their homework better than the other. However, they will still see business from new brands that get onboarded to TSC. GM is next.

GM has two part numbers for a NACS adapter in their system. Supposedly the second one is the Lectron adapter, but I haven't gone looking for proof of it.

I've also heard that if you can get the Tesla station to initiate a charge with your phone, it'll charge a supported GM vehicle right now. GM just hasn't opened the baked-in capability in their app yet. I plan to see what happens if I initiate through the Rivian app. ?

IIRC, A2Z hinted they were in discussions with OEMs.

Log into the Rivian Web Site, under profile there is an order history link. It shows anything you have ordered from the shop.

That would explain why i don’t see that section, as I’ve not made a purchase from gear shop yet.

When they create the order it will show there. I git my email on 8/30 but the order was not created until 9/9.
