So am I able to get the 22s in these new tires to fit my R1S? Seems like I can..I need new tires asap and Costco won’t put on the 115 tires I had ordered. What a nightmare.
Can you re-word your question? It's not making sense to me.

Sorry. I typed it in a hurry.
I have 22s on my R1S. Will these fit it?

I bought the Michelin 275/50R22 Defender LTX 2s but Costco won’t put them on because it says 116 and they’re 115 :(.

Wondering if the 22 option would work for the R1S. I’m finding it hard to even understand if they will or not.

There isn't a new Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT in 22". Only 20" at the moment. You'd need new wheels first.

The Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 comes in an LT version in 275/50R20. If you want to stick with those wheels, and Costco, I'd ask them when they'll be back in stock.

Goodyear offers a replacement Wrangler Steadfast HT that is an option for the 22" wheels. It's not specifically designed for Rivian, but it is a good tire.

Same problem will happen at Costco, Discount Tire, probably even a Goodyear location... 115 load index.
Good catch, I didn't realize these were 115 load index.

So back to the Goodyear Territory in 20", any updated owner reports? How is the tire noise at higher speeds? Anyone go to them from 21" and can compare noise levels with the 21's before they got noisy?

My truck is in for service and whenever it finally comes home (been a week so far), I want to either slap on the GoodYears or go with the Michelins. I am not as concerned if these are slight less efficient than the LTX M/S2's or not, I am more concerned about the noise. My wife likes quiet cars.

Can you comment on the max pressure these tires can be run at. I see on the side wall that it says 51 PSI max. I was running at 52 PSI cold, getting up to 54 PSI after driving.

Prior to pumping them up 52, they were down to 43 PSI. They sounded happier after pumping up. The sounds of the tires was less when going around turns. Bumps are a little harsher when pumped up so much, but 2025 R1S still isn't the smoothest vehicle to start with.

Indeed 51 max cold, why would you run it higher? That's dangerous! 48psi as the truck states is the recommended/safe load.

In other news, they're sold out at Goodyear. Must be popular, congrats @B Digs!

Had 21k on the pirellis and these Goodyears are smoother and very quiet at all speeds. Biggest surprise is how much lighter the steering wheel feels. Oh did I mention how wonderful it’s finally quiet driving now ?.

They look great. How do they compare to when your Pirellis were with fewer miles on them?

The Pirellis new weren’t loud but there was always a buzz that got louder as they wore down. These Goodyears are almost silent, but they are AT’s so not totally.
