Had a set of EV Sportsline running boards installed today on my Gen2 R1S. Installer was Roadmaster Collision, 9401 Ronda Ln. Ask for Sam. They did a great job on the install.

I just did this install by myself (and I'm not a "car guy" or grease monkey of any kind. Took about 3 hours start to finish, including a self-inflicted screw-up that required removing one installed running board and starting over.

If you have the basic tools (breaker bar, torque wrench, assorted screwdrivers and adapters), it's pretty easy.

I never heard how much so I ended up doing it myself. Not hard to do, but need a second pair of hands when you lift them into place.
I thought about using a floor jack when I do mine since my son is so unreliable. :(

Do you think a jack would work? I have a high lift offroad floor jack.

I did it by myself, no second set of hands or jacks needed. I propped up the back with a bucket (you can use a stack of books too). You just need it a foot off the ground so you can get the carriage bolts in the front. Once you have one bolt loosely in, you can get the back in, and then it's held up and you can do the rest of them. That was probably the fastest of all the steps!
