TEAM - I am not a fan of after-market stuff, but will buy just about anything, "Rivian" - LOL. Need recommendations for a great cell phone holder for my R1S. I shoot videos for social media so something that can view my pretty face from the driver's side would be ideal. Let me know what you recommend. I tried one an Amazon and it suuuuucked - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4LZMQG6?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Thanks TEAM! Let's goooooo!

This one goes left of the steering wheel and also has a charging version that connects to the OBD port:
https://twraps.com/products/dashboa...le-iphone-holder-for-rivian-r1t-r1s-2021-2025

this one goes behind the display, no charging though:
https://twraps.com/products/dashboard-phone-mount-for-rivian-r1t-r1s

This goes over the OEM charging pad and makes it MagSafe compatible:

Very helpful. Thank you so much! Going to go with option 1 - the left mount. Much appreciate. Have an amazing day.

Here's my one and only while-driving video, see if it's to your liking...

This is using the left-side dash mount from OpenSourceEV, which I printed myself, but you can buy it from them. Super solid, even off road. I used an offset MagSafe mount to get it at a better angle near the steering wheel. Links are in the video description.

You can see the phone/mount here:

At the end of the day, you have effectively two options where you can mount a phone in the R1S - either to the left or right of the screen. All do this slightly differently, nearly all are 3D printed, and some are clearly better than others.

I run OpenSource EV Parts, created the first phone holder for the Rivian in very early 2022, have been improving on it ever since, and offer two different premier versions for sale. Both are available for you to 3D print for little to no cost as well, because that's what's best for the community.

The Phone Mount Evo mounts to the right of the steering wheel and hugs the left of the left of the infotainment screen to eliminate shaking. It assembles in less than 30 seconds with one bolt, and installs in under 10 seconds without any screws. It's designed to as least obscured by the steering wheel as possible without having the phone sit on top of the dash like others.

It's also available in a kit with two different MagSafe holders for less than others charge for just the mount itself. The ATB 720 degree adjustable one:

And the Lisen Low Profile one:

The NextGen Phone Mount installs to the left of the steering wheel, and is what Carlos posted about 3D printing earlier in the thread. It installs at the very top of the vent opening, but doesn't cover any of the actual venting mechanism. It's a completely bolt-through design for maximum rigidity -- folks have literally hung foldable phones and tablets from it without issue. It also doesn't deform the dashpad like others.

It's also available with the same ATB or Lisen MagSafe holders as a kit for less than just the mount from others.

Thank you so much. I am going to give it a go and go with the right side mounted / non-charging. I don't need a charging phone holder as I work a desk job and sit on my ass all day and charge my phone, but I do need something sturdy and somewhat flexible for recording videos / vlogging. I think the option you suggested will work. Is there a link to purchase? Thank you.

Awesome!

The mount itself (with an option for the Lisen holder) is $15 here: https://opensourceev.com/products/phone-ball-mount-evo

The kit with the ATB 720 degree holder is $22 here: https://opensourceev.com/products/complete-evo-right-phone-holder-kit
