Rivian has exterior door handles that will work in case of an accident. That is part of the reason why you aren't 17X more likely to burn to death in a Rivian than a Pinto like you would in a CT.
no they don't. They are the same as tesla. They are "fake" door handles that actuate and electronic mechanism, just like in a tesla model 3/Y. A button is no different

in a frontal collision the reason the door won't open is likely a power failure

Or because it is a glued-together CT death trap that has a 17X bigger chance of burning you alive than a Pinto.

you are incapable of accepting that in the same circumstance (high speed frontal collision) that you would have the exact same issues with a rivian. Hard to access manual door release. Incapacitated passengers and laminated side windows.

"useless' door handles on the side of the car since they are electronic

Do you even own a Rivian? The exterior Rivian door handles will open the vehicle if an accident is detected. If you have any proof otherwise, please share it. Much like your ā€œproofā€ that Tesla self driving is ā€œsafeā€ I’m sure you have nothing.

Also, the Rivian emergency response guide clearly says to break the glass if the doors won’t open. An normal feat on a Rivian. Not so much on the CT because it was designed to impress apocalyptic incels, not people with common sense.

From the Tesla website:
Shatter Resistant
Armor glass can resist the impact of a baseball at 70 mph or class 4 hail. Acoustic glass helps make the cabin as quiet as outer space.

That's the same for most vehicles, tesla included. The difference is that the door handles are not mechanical so it is no different than having a button on the cybertruck. The handles are for show only.

Then why is Rivian not 17 times more likely to roast you alive than the Pinto, but the CT is?

Like I said, provide an example of a Rivian not being accessible during a crash.

And stop ignoring the ā€œArmor glassā€ as a reason the CT is more dangerous to those trapped inside.

because no one has crashed a rivian in the same way? Is it that hard to see?

In fact if you take away the attempt of terrorisim, you have an accident with 3 teenagers under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and cocaine. That doesn't look good, period.

I don't know much about that other accident in texas.

Rivian has sold very few vehicles and because many are large SUVs and trucks, I would be surprised if a lot of people are not daily driving these vehicles.

What does smoking weed or snorting cocaine have to do with your car burning you to death? Why do you keep bringing that up? Do you think that it's acceptable their cybertruck burned them alive because they were drunk and high?

no. But in the same circumstance it would be no different in a rivian. You refuse to accept that

Also, there are more R1 vehicles on the road than CT's, yet we don't have the whole burning to death problem.

That's not true, because we have ZERO stories of it happening with a Rivian. There are MORE Rivians on the road than CTs, yet ZERO stories like this.

i see more cybertrucks than I do R1S and R1T. Maybe it is because they are more obvious

And this means what? Nothing. There are sales figures and more R1’s have been sold than CTs. This isn’t disputable and saying ā€œwell I see Xā€ means absolutely nothing. I’m not sure why you wasted your time adding that anecdote.

Tesla has had effectively two accidents of noteworthy with the cybertruck. It is not statistically significant enough to jump to conclusions about the safety of said vehicle.

Rivian has not sold statistically enough vehicles or probably had enough miles driven on their vehicles to make conclusions about safety.

When R2 comes out we will see what really happens
